Meet Kayla Naijé…

Hello! My name is Kayla, an African American dancer and dance educator from the East Coast. I am ecstatic at the possibility of being your dance teacher! With over 18 years of experience, dance is not just my passion, but my life's dedication. I hold Bachelor of Arts degrees in Dance and Psychology, and my training covers a wide range of styles including Hip-Hop, Modern, Tap, Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, and Improvisation, specializing in Narrative dance and Urban Contemporary.

I have extensive experience in both performing and educating, and I am a member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) as well as a member of an Urban Contemporary Dance Company. Whether you have been dancing for 10+ years or just starting out, I create fun and engaging lesson plans tailored to your skill level. My approach is about exploring new movement within your own body and imagining the world as your stage.

At Kayla Naijé Dance, no matter your experience level, there is always room for growth and creativity. Dive into the rhythm, embrace the beats, and dance to the tune of your heart. Join me on a journey of self-expression through dance.
